  • Auburn police said a California man died when his commercial vehicle went off I‑85 near mile marker 56 Wednesday at about 5:30 p.m.—first responders took extra time to reach him due to extensive cab damage as the wreck was found 40 to 50 yards off the roadway in the woods and the crash is under investigation.  WAKA

  • Auburn University broke ground on a new $77 million College of Education building today—President Christopher Roberts said the facility will be a game changer for training future teachers.  Opelika-Auburn News
  • During Tuesday night's Auburn City Schools Board of Education meeting, three parents raised concerns over changes to the bus routes—specifically regarding pickup locations, timing and safety.  The Auburn Villager
