  • Parking in downtown Auburn will be free through Jan. 6 during Auburn University's winter break, with on-street spots available downtown, near the Municipal Parking Deck and the Gay Street Parking Lot.  The Auburn Villager

  • Former Auburn defensive tackle Marcus Harris rejoined the Houston Texans' practice squad on Wednesday as the team bolsters depth amid injuries on its defensive line. The seventh-round pick returned after stints with the Bills and Patriots and joins a squad that includes his Auburn standout teammate, Marlon Davidson.  AL.com
  • Xavier Atkins, Auburn’s first All-American linebacker in over 20 years, announced on Wednesday that he will return for the 2026 season after recording 84 tackles, 17 tackles for loss and nine sacks in 2025, promising to boost the defense under coach DJ Durkin.  AL.com
  • Auburn football is eyeing new quarterback options for 2026 as the transfer portal opens Jan. 2—starter Daniels, backup Knight and potential recruit Byrum Brown face decisions while coach Golesh’s staff may reshape the lineup.  AL.com
  • Alabama football coach Kalen DeBoer confirmed that top tight ends Josh Cuevas and Danny Lewis Jr. will play today in the College Football Playoff at Oklahoma — after being upgraded from questionable status. Their return is expected to strengthen the offense in tonight’s game.  AL.com
