COMMUNITY NEWS

  • Cornerstone of EAMC signed a $70,000 check to Habitat for Humanity to sponsor two homes for hospital employees that will be built in early 2026; each home will receive $35,000 of a roughly $100,000 cost and the employees must complete 500 sweat equity hours. The project in Opelika and Auburn will add four homes and involve Stone Martin Builders and local volunteers — an effort to support affordable homeownership for healthcare workers.  The Observer
