  • High school football teams played on November 6-7 as Action 8's Lace Up Sports reported first round playoff scores and highlights—Auburn won 52-41 over Vestavia Hills with many other matchups noted.  WAKA
  • Diego Pavia threw a 4-yard touchdown pass in overtime that gave Vanderbilt a 45-38 win on Saturday — marking Auburn’s first game under interim coach DJ Durkin after coach Hugh Freeze was fired. Coach Durkin said his team did not respond well as they struggled to match Vanderbilt’s 10-point comeback — leaving them short of a win.  WAKA
