  • Ashlyn Powers, a senior studying business management, was crowned Miss Auburn University 2026 on Oct. 3 at the Student Activities Center after competing against 11 contestants—she showcased her drumming talent and commitment to empowering people with disabilities while Miss America 2025 hosted the event with judges evaluating talent, evening gown and on-stage conversation.  The Auburn Plainsman

SPORTS NEWS

  • Auburn football is in its first bye week under coach Hugh Freeze, with D.J. Durkin’s defense limiting opponents to 13.8 points per game over five games, including a strong effort against Texas A&M.
