  • Auburn Parks and Recreation will host Harvest Market at Town Creek Park on Saturday, Oct. 4 from 8 a.m. to noon. The market will feature local farmers, growers & artists.  The Auburn Villager

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Last Friday, Auburn University Regional Airport held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new air traffic control tower — attended by representatives from Auburn University, the cities of Auburn and Opelika and the state of Alabama. Officials say the tower will improve flight operations in the future.  The Auburn Villager

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • At Tuesday’s meeting, Auburn City Council approved the biennial budget for fiscal years 2026-27 during its second reading—confirming the city's planned spending for the next two years.  The Auburn Villager
