  • Opelika police are asking for help in identifying suspects after video evidence showed two thefts at Ulta Beauty on Enterprise Drive on August 2 and 21—suspects include a trio seen on August 2 with distinct clothing and a woman seen concealing items on August 21.  WAKA
  • Lee County DA is seeking the death penalty in connection to the Kiesel Park killing—investigators say Schnuelle was walking her dog when Dabney ambushed her and allegedly dragged her several hundred yards into the woods.  Opelika-Auburn News

SPORTS NEWS

  • The Auburn Tigers will face Virginia at Neville Arena at 5:30 p.m. CST today in the SEC-ACC Showdown at the Net. The team is on a four-match winning streak — after wins against Morehead State, Troy and Jackson State — and hopes to hand Virginia its first loss as they build momentum for SEC play.  The Auburn Plainsman
