- ➤ Auburn-based nonprofit Baby Steps supports Auburn University students facing unplanned pregnancies by providing housing, counseling, and basic supplies so they can complete their studies (83% graduation rate for residents). The program opened a house in Tuscaloosa in January and now welcomes donations and volunteer support from local community members. The Observer
