- ➤ Auburn Police arrested 25-year-old Ashley Susan Graham on a felony warrant for aggravated cruelty to animals after officers responded Monday to a complaint about deceased household animals near the 400 block of North Dean Road—she is now in custody at Lee County Jail on a $5,000 bond. WAKA

- ➤ State health officials confirmed Alabama’s first measles case since 2002 in a child under five from North Alabama— the unvaccinated child contracted the virus while traveling abroad and did not attend daycare or school.
