- ➤ Auburn University has partnered with Peachtree Entertainment to bring over five multi-genre concerts each year to Jordan-Hare Stadium and Neville Arena starting in fall 2026—this multi-year deal will offer new live music events for students and residents in Auburn. WAKA

- ➤ Peter Rauterkus joined AL.com as Auburn’s Sports Beat Writer in July 2024 — covering football, basketball and other Auburn sports. Born in Louisiana and raised in Birmingham, he graduated from LSU in May 2024 — and worked at outlets including The Dallas Morning News, On3 and The Reveille. AL.com
- ➤ Jerry Humphrey III has been a sports beat writer at AL.com covering Auburn football, basketball and other sports since Oct. 2024—he built his career at outlets such as The Montgomery Advertiser, USA Basketball, ESPN and SLAM Magazine before earning his mass communication degree from North Carolina A&T State University in May 2022. - ➤ Starting Aug. 29, Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport will offer nonstop flights on American and Southwest Airlines for Auburn and Alabama football games. Additional flights on United and Delta will depart the Friday before each game and return Sunday — giving fans a faster way to travel. AL.com
- ➤ Auburn University extended head coach Butch Thompson's contract through 2031 after he led the Tigers to the super regionals in the 2025 season—he has coached the team since 2015. WAKA
