Downtown Opelika hosted the 11th Annual Burger Wars on Saturday where chefs competed in three divisions for trophies, cash awards & the crowd favorite title as food lovers sampled dozens of burgers.

A relay race between Opelika and Auburn fire departments added to the excitement while the event’s proceeds benefited local nonprofits.
