  • Ken Jennings hosted the 2025 Jeopardy Masters round featuring a Final Jeopardy clue about the 2026 New Year’s Day Rose Bowl in Pasadena, where Indiana’s win over Alabama (38-3) led to contestants struggling with their wagers, and the correct answer was 'Crimson Tide and Hoosiers.'  AL.com

SPORTS NEWS

  • No. 2 Auburn women's tennis defeated Miami with a 4-0 shutout at the Yarbrough Tennis Center on Saturday, May 2, clinching their sixth NCAA Super Regional appearance. The Tigers will host the NCAA round of 16 next weekend against Duke at the same venue.  The Auburn Plainsman
  • No. 22 Auburn men’s tennis season ended Saturday when the Tigers lost their NCAA Championship second-round match to No. 11 Baylor 4-1, leaving Billy Blaydes with 87 career wins & ranking sixth all-time in program history.  The Auburn Plainsman
  • Auburn football is building its 2027 recruiting class with four commitments and more prospects expected during the Big Cat Weekend beginning May 16 and official visits until June 22. Head coach Alex Golesh says the team is trending in the right direction as they focus on high school talent.  AL.com
  • Auburn's softball season ended in Baton Rouge after a three-game sweep by No. 19 LSU. The Tigers are now the 14th seed in the SEC Tournament and will face Missouri on Tuesday in Lexington (Ky.).  The Auburn Plainsman
  • No. 8 Auburn baseball swept Saturday's doubleheader with a 5-4 win over No. 7 Texas A&M, achieving six wins in seven conference games. The Tigers (after an 18-5 run-rule win earlier) will aim to sweep the road series with Game 3 at 1 p.m. tomorrow.  The Auburn Plainsman
