- ➤ California-based aircraft manufacturer Natilus announced last month that it is considering Alabama among other states for its planned two-phase manufacturing facility that will produce 60 KONA cargo aircraft in a 250,000-square-foot site and later expand to a 2.5 million-square-foot facility to build Horizon jets in the early 2030s. The company said strong local incentive programs — along with access to adequate runways and suppliers — helped shape its site selection. AL.com
