- ➤ The Auburn University board of trustees approved restoring Petrie Hall (built in 1939) near Jordan-Hare Stadium to prevent deterioration and prepare the building for future use, and it also greenlit architect searches for Foy Hall’s student veterans center renovations. Both moves support planned campus upgrades. AL.com

- ➤ Over the weekend in Gainesville, Auburn Softball lost a three-game SEC series to Florida but secured a 4-0 game-two shutout by pitcher Ella Harrison (snapping a 13-game conference slump). The Tigers will face unranked Troy Wednesday in a nonconference matchup. The Auburn Plainsman
- ➤ Auburn’s wheelchair basketball team won its first-ever national championship on Apr. 4 in Arizona at the McKale Memorial Center by beating arch-rivals Alabama.
