EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Lee County Board of Education received a third-party audit from Bailey Education Group that found 12 teachers at South Smiths Station Elementary used unapproved curriculum materials — as a result, former principal Teresa Phillips has been moved to serve as interim head of the LCS pre-K program with a proposal to make her full-time while Amy Long continues as interim principal at South Smiths Station.
