  • During Auburn's spring A-Day practice on April 12, 2025, wide receivers showed strong improvement on Pat Dye Field—Perry Thompson made several challenging catches while freshman Sam Turner impressed with his deep threat ability. Head coach Hugh Freeze expressed confidence in the group, saying their performance sets a promising tone for the upcoming season.  The Auburn Plainsman
  • Auburn A-Day at Jordan-Hare Stadium took place on Saturday with quarterback Jackson Arnold missing the practice due to a minor hamstring injury, so freshman Deuce Knight took starter reps and threw interceptions before rebounding with a touchdown pass. Coach Hugh Freeze said in a statement (that Knight’s errors were not typical of his spring performance) he remained optimistic about the team as the roster prepares to compete this season.  WAKA
