- ➤ Miracle League of East Alabama celebrated opening of the upgraded Billy Hitchcock Field at West Ridge Park on March 21 in Opelika; the new artificial turf field built with city support serves adaptive athletes, with games scheduled each Saturday from March 28 to April 25 (a new playground is planned). - ➤ Turn & Burn offers elevated fusion street food made with locally sourced ingredients. Co-owners Dickie Johnson and Dylan Weaver from Opelika now serve at Auburn University Monday through Thursday and at the aviation building on Fridays, with seasonal specials and catering planned. The Observer
