About this event
Ellis Paul doesn't just write songs. He's a guitar-carrying reporter who turns the hopes, loves and losses of the people he meets into stories that get under your skin. Raised in Maine and shaped on Boston's open-mic circuit, he's become one of the defining voices of modern folk.
Across 20-plus albums he has won more than a dozen Boston Music Awards, landed songs in the films Me, Myself & Irene and Shallow Hal , and carried the torch for his hero Woody Guthrie, headlining the Woody Guthrie Folk Festival and setting Guthrie's unpublished lyrics to music. His family albums have earned Parents' Choice Gold and Silver awards.
Hear his songs and stories up close in The Sound Wall's intimate listening room. Just 50 seats, so grab yours below.
