About Martha J. LaGuardia-Kotite:
Martha J. LaGuardia-Kotite is a retired U.S. Coast Guard captain, award-winning author, motivational and TEDx speaker, and ocean conservationist. During her distinguished 29-year military career, she became one of the first female officers to serve aboard cutters with all-male crews and later served as press secretary to the Coast Guard Commandant.
Beyond her military service, Martha is an acclaimed author and speaker dedicated to preserving and sharing stories of military heroism and ocean advocate.
